on saturday, kenneth decided to make seagram pie for the potluck. unfortunately, it took a very long time; and we wasted a lot of time playing Ninja Turtles III on the oldschool Nintendo. by then, we had an hour before the potluck started. It took us more than 3 hours to make the pie. But boy, was it good. Kenneth opened the lid while we were in Mike's car...ooooh man...it was killer.
That night (while dreaming of counterstrike), i felt a terrific pain in my lower chest area, as if i've been stabbed. I thought it was just part of the dream, but as I tried to fall back asleep, the pain grew worse. It got to the point where I thought i was going to die or something, so i prayed those typical God-i'm-helpless-out-here-please-help-me prayers in all honesty.
on a lighter note, i also got up and searched "heartburn" on wikipedia, convinced that i had it. I drank some water (stupid disconnected water filter), and went back to sleep. Then I woke up late the next morning, and the church bus was coming in ten minutes.
Now here i am, slowly (and painfully) making the transition to university life. hopefully you'll learn not to be lazy like me, and not to eat Seagram pie without drinking gallons of water afterwards. although that not have been the cause.
but that pie was sooooo good....*drools*

hahaha i laughed when i read "terrific pain". it makes it sound as if you enjoyed it. XD
heartburns... oo. my friends told me that when you eat something and you swallow without chewing properly and it gets stuck, that's a heartburn. i never really believed them... my friends are too weird..
i had a dream about getting shot. i think it was some sort of game... but it was more like a nightmare cuz my family was playing. and they were all getting shot. x_x it was so horrible i had to force myself awake. but i remember it even till now... (though it was only last night's dream... ^^;;)
wahaha, i shall be joining you next year in university life. not a lot of ppl apply for kin at loo. 700 something compared to york and western's 2000's...
owell ^^
lol, "how's the pain jon?" "TERRRR-RIFICK!!" LOL!!!
But wow, heartburn sucks. I used to get it but now I don't really eat anything interesting (aside from a week old cookie that forced me to spend the first 10 mins of my Linear Algebra lecture in the washroom). Yeah, I gave the other half to my dog and he had to go out several times too. I didn't know his system was as bad as mine, I thought dogs were immune to a lot of things aside from chocolate, nuts, and alchohol.
Anyways, heartburn is caused by acid reflux right? Excess HCl in the stomach that gets stuck in your esophagus (sp?) and pokes at you as if your 'heart' (though technically it's in front of your heart, at the bottom of your throat) is burning.
Oh, reminds me of the bad naruto subs. "Paining." *naruto gets hurt* "Paining!" Hehehe...
But yeah, stay hydrated, well fed, well rested, well occupied... what else was there?
Oh, and guess what! I found packet of pocky. I haven't eaten this thing for almost a year now. *pocks*
O_O! animal cruelty!!! *smacks you*
*shakes head*
#1: YAY for kin at waterloo!! I get to spend ONE TERM with you if you're here! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i'm so excited for next year.. hahah :)
#2: excuuuuuuse me but if YOUR esophagus is in FRONT of your heart, you have some messed up anatomy. Mine (and likely everyone else's) is behind my heart. :) but yes, the acid reflux thing does occur.... :)
#3: dude remind me next time NOT to go to your place within 2 days of you eating Seagram Pie.... ;p i highly doubt you'll develop immunity to its pervasiveness after your first exposure to it...
All these nubs, you and your commentors here. That's not heartburn, that's SeagramPieGGBurn.
